Introduction

VANet develops and publishes https://vanet.app/, an interaction platform for Virtual Airlines (VAs) and Virtual Organizations (VOs) operating on the mobile flight simulator Infinite Flight. VAs and VOs are collectively known as Virtual Entities (VEs). "VANet," "we," "our," or "us" in this Privacy Policy refers to VANet, a brand owned and operated by Kai Malcolm as a Sole Trader - Australia Business Number 8935 6618 417.

This Privacy Policy applies whenever you use our "Services," which means https://vanet.app/. This policy does not extend to websites other than https://vanet.app/. This document describes how we collect, store, use, disclose, and otherwise process your personal information when providing these Services to you, and your rights and choices concerning your information. The Privacy Policy’s sections are listed and hyperlinked in the Table of Contents above for easier navigation.

If you do not want us to collect, store, use, or share your information in the ways described in this Privacy Policy, you may not use this websites or its services.

  • Identification: to create a charge to a specific Card registered to a specific Customer should a user register multiple cards - the identifier is used to match the card details stored securely on Stripe’s service.

Please note the user's credit card information (card number, name, CVC) is collected through the Stripe Checkout website for subscribing to a VANet service. This information is collected via the Stripe Checkout service and is processed by Stripe. This personal data is processed by the third party of Stripe.

Data Breaches

Breaches are to be reported within 72 hours to the local authorities by Mr Kai Malcolm, reporting what data has been lost, what the consequences are and the countermeasures taken. If the data was unencrypted, the data subject (user) must be informed.

Your Rights

The user has the following rights.

  • The right to access and download all personal data we store on the user
  • The right to update the user's personal information
  • The right to delete the user's account and remove all personal data
  • The right to request the termination of processing the user's data. Note this will result in account deletion.

The downloading, updating and removal of personal information may be done through the account management panel. Requests for the termination of data processing should be directed to Mr Kai Malcolm via email at [email protected].

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act

VANet is directed to people who are 13 years old or older. If you are under the age of 13, per the requirements of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), you are not permitted to use any VANet service.
